FFXI.

I miss some of the people I used to talk to on a daily basis in FFXI. Maybe that sounds homo, but I don't care. Either these people have quit or we've just grown apart.

The current state of FFXI for me is really good, though. I went through some wierd things in-game last week and really was ready to break from the game for a while. But things can change overnight, and I guess that is what happened.

All this drama, even posted by me on my own LJ, has no weight on me as far as FFXI enjoyment is concerned. I'm really quick to get over things like this. I chat a lot with a lot of people that players in my LS hate, and it doesn't bother me. I'm pleased for any linkshells big accomplishments. We were all there once. I remember the first time I killed Nidhogg, Kirin, Aspidochelone, King Behemoth. Even Serket and Adamantoise, whom I killed with Gatts' LS Band of the Hawk, the first non-JP HNM LS (even if it was short-lived) on the server. Those are good memories. Things we take for granted after our 25th Kirin or Fafnir.

I hold no ill-will toward anyone in The Calm or any other LS as far as talking from a person to a person goes. I may not like what certain people do sometimes, but if I don't know them well I will get over it right quick. If Akiito wanted to make peace and apologize for the things he said and have me apologize to him for the things I said/posted, well, that would be that as far as I am concerned. Getting bogged down in hatred or holding grudges toward other for actions, or especially accomplishments, really isn't my thing.
