Busy day
Everything popped late today D;/ Woke up, headed to Adamantoise. Last instance pop > Jezmund snagged with Chi, we killed. Head to Fafnir, 5th instance pop, lost pull. Flip-flopped
Today was a much better day than yesterday. As I got home from school, Saga was gathering at Tiamat. We killed Tiamat #3, Kote > Zen, Gaiters > TC. Next we did Dynamis - Xarc, and got -Scouts Jerkin > Calaelen -Summoners Horn > Milhouse -Bard's Cannions > Altdeer Nice run AF-wise. Lastly, headed to Sacrarium for Swift Belt day #3 with Russta, Takioni, Bluetonberry, and Magus, and 5-man killed 2 humes and 1 mithra for a droprate of 2/3 belts. One to me, one to Russ. After a single 1-hr class tomorrow morning I'm free til Tuesday. Hooray. | | 1:35 am |
So how was your night?
Went back to Sacrarium, popped 3 more Swift Belt NMs. No drop, 0/5. Spent about 1hr getting Ikari's inventory and all my mules set up for guilding (60+ HQ crab shells) in preparation for new-moon windday (last new-moon windday I had a 50% skillup rate). Did the 14 synths that I had ready on Ikari for a total of ZERO skillup and then my router killed FFXI for the rest of windday. I had a wonderful night. | | Monday, August 29th, 2005 | | 8:03 pm |

Organized a Sacrarium Raid after getting a Fomor Codex the other day. Spent a couple hours down there killing fomor and we popped 2 NMs with the Codex. After spending a few hours getting the codex (drop rate is really gay), the time it took to organize the raid, and the couple hours we were down there, you'd think they would make the Swift Belt a 100% drop. But no, that would just be too nice. We went 0/2 on Swift Belt down there and had pretty bad luck on the subligar, too. Oh well... Points of interest lately: -Saga Tiamat #2- Even smoother than the first. Wyrm Horn to Zen, Kote to TC. -Bonecraft 89, Leather 50. Once I get bone to 90, I will be able to shoot up quickly ("quickly"). Leather 60 soon. -WHM level 72 get. My last 3 PTs were rocking 1500exp/hr each, fuckin awesome. -Nidhogg #6, Dalmatica #2. Back to school
School semester starts tomorrow. Time for FFXI = byebye. Which is ok really, I've been bored with most anything I have done in the game recently. Camp NM = zzz. Hunt HNM = zzz. Party WHM = wtfux, how can people still suck so bad after the game being out this long and them getting to lvl 70+. I've been enjoying guilding a lot but I can only do Bonework on Windday and Darkday lately, everything else kills my skillup.  Something is seriously wrong with my router/cable connection/something, I keep r0ing for like 10-30mins straight at least once a day and wierd shit like the above keeps happening. It stops R0ing for a sec or two if I start spamming magic casting/song singing. What the fuck. Nobody was around when we went besides a PLD afk 5 feet from the pop on /away. 1/3, npnp.  Bone 88, Cloth 60, Leather 49. Other subs to raise = Smithing (14) and Alchemy (2). FFXI okw
Tonight was great. Finally getting Spirit Taker after many months of having my staff skill hanging in the low 200s was only the icing on the cake of a night spent in good company. After having a few chats today regarding item drama, it was incredibly relaxing to wind down at the end of the day and chat with Lurch, Chay, and Ryath as we skilled (Lurch provided moral support from his perch atop Ifrit's Cauldraun). I doubt the others I was with felt it was so great but really, its times like that when FFXI is at its best to me. A renewed interest in WHM has me sighing as I must take BLM from 35 > 37 and a wanting to take SMN from 15 > 37. After borrowing Russta's Blessed Briault for a PT today and seeing its downright hotness in both looks and stats, I immediately wanted one and as I returned to Jeuno from my aforementioned activity tonight, I was pleasantly surprised to see 2.3million sitting in my inbox from a recently sold gun (decided to sell after Selene's Bow was obtained). Right away I knew what I was going to do with this money and I rushed to the AH and purchased my very own Blessed Briault for 1,800,000. Some dude sent me a tell asking why I bought Wyvern Scales x12 for 100k (raised from the 80-90k price) and I told him it's because it costs more in the singles I usually buy anyway, and the Windurst prices are different too. He said ok, just don't raise it past 100k because thats a rediculous price. No problem, wasn't planning on spending more than 100k. Well today he raised the price to 110k and seems to have less of a life than me with his ability to constantly buy these things as soon as they are listed. I've got 1.3 levels to go on this shit, can't wait til the hell is over. Buy > Namtar Bones ナムタルの骨, Giant Frozen Head 氷漬けの巨大な頭, Colossal Skull 巨大なサレコウベ. The latter two are Dynamis drops. Lost lot on second Selene's Bow :o 2/19 drop, 0/19 win~ Edit: 2/20 Edit: 2/21 Edit: 2/22, 2/23, then on the final chance of the night we got the pop and the bow dropped. Was lotting against one other guy I had teamed up with, he lotted 836 and I was ready to congratulate him when I lotted 863 :o 3/24, half with TH3. Drop rate sucks. | | 5:19 pm |
Bonecrafting Stuff
Bonecraft level 82.9. Kinda stuck currently because of the lack of Wyvern Scales on the AH these last couple days. Been stocking items like nuts for the final synths. Got 1/3 as many Titanictus Shells as I need and about 1/6 the amount of HQ Pugil Scales I need (big thanks to Natas and Jezmund here). If you can/do fish Gavial Fish on Ragnarok server, I will pay 35k per 10. Please send me a tell, I need hundreds more.I got 55 gavial fish from Jez and Natas and was able to turn that into 39 HQ Pugil Scales. That really is pretty good.
